PO “Association of Sociologists of Kazakhstan” (ASK), with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is holding the next 7th CONGRESS OF SOCIOLOGISTS OF KAZAKHSTAN on the theme: “Independent Kazakhstan: Social Changes and Future Prospects”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main goal of the Congress is to discuss the results of the activities of the Association of Sociologists of Kazakhstan, to develop urgent scientific-practical tasks to ensure harmonious socio-political and predictable humanitarian and educational development of society in the context of the rapidly proceeding modernization of a multi-ethnic and political transition.
The works of the Congress will be attended by the Chairpersons of the Chambers of Parliament, the First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, authoritative representatives of the scientific-academic and expert-analytical communities, foreign experts from Russia, Turkey, and other countries, Parliament members, representatives of NGOs and first leaders of the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Within the framework of the Congress, a plenary session, dialogue platforms, master classes, and a round table will be held. There will be an award ceremony for representatives of the sociological community. The topics of the dialogue platforms of the Congress will be: “Topical issues of the social agenda for the development of modern Kazakhstan” and “Human and social capital in Kazakhstan: measurement, assessment and development trends”.
The participants of the Congress will discuss topical issues of the state and forecast parameters of the development of Kazakhstani sociological science at the present stage from the point of view of the first achievements of the observed modernization processes in the country.
